Expectations

  What we expect from the players:

· We expect players to arrive on time for all matches & Training with the correct kit, boots and shin pads – without anyone of these you may not be able to play. 

· We expect players to treat everyone with respect.

· No arguing with officials, managers or anyone associated with Wallington little league.

· No swearing, intimidating or aggressive behavior at any point whether that be before, during or after a match or at training.

· Listen to instructions from their manager and only their manager during matches. 

· Work hard as a team, encourage teammates and enjoy themselves.

· Win with humility & lose with grace.

What we expect from Parents:

· Clear, concise communication with the manager of their connected team.

· No abusive, threatening, aggressive or intimidating behaviour aimed towards anyone connected with Wallington Little league- this will result in an instant ban without warning.

· Do NOT instruct the players – leave that to the manager.

· Encourage, praise, and celebrate the players at every opportunity.

· Always remain behind the respect barriers during a match. Do not stand behind the 

goals or on the side of the managers.

· Only Park in the designated bays of the car parks. If you are local enough to walk to football, please do so.

What we expect from the Managers

· Clear, concise communication with the parents of their team.

· No abusive, threatening, aggressive or intimidating behavior aimed towards anyone connected with Wallington Little league- this will result in an instant ban without warning.

· Do NOT overload the players with overly complex instructions or instill a win at all costs mentality.

· Encourage, praise, and celebrate the players at every opportunity.

· Always remain on the managers side of the pitch during games. Do not enter the field of play unless instructed to do so.

· Do not challenge the ref before, during or after a match

· Arrive to matches in a timely fashion in order to warm-up and give direction prior to kick off time.

· To send match results and goals scorers into the managers Whats App group  chat immediately after the match.

· To understand their responsibility to the development of the children. 

What we expect from Officials :

·  Be honest and completely impartial at all times. 

.  Apply the Laws of the Game and competition rules fairly and consistently

.  Manage the game in a positive, calm and confident manner 

.  Deal with instances of violence, aggression, unsporting behaviour, foul play and other misconduct. 

.  Never tolerate offensive, insulting or abusive language or behaviour from players, Managers or supporters.

.  Set a positive personal example by promoting good behaviour and showing respect to everyone involved in the game. 

.  Communicate with the players and encourage Fair Play
